The Planneralm is the highest skiing village in Styria, situated picturesquely 1600 m up in the Austrian alps, about 40 km from Schladming away.

Ideal skiing resort for families offering all different levels, ideal starting point for skiing-tours too (suggestions for routes with detailed info (in German) when booking).

The infra structure is well done: for all information, web cam, rates and prices for chairlifts/ skiing passes for day/ week see Planneralm (only in German).

location:

in the heart of the Styrian valley called „Ennstal“.
Coming from direction Vienna, Graz or Linz: it can easily be reached via autoroute A9 “Phyrnautobahn” up to Liezen, from there to Irdning and Donnersbach, where the well signposted alpine road begins.
Coming from direction Salzburg or Villach: it can easily be reached via autoroute A10 “Tauernautobahn” up to Radstadt, from there via Schladming to Irdning (Schladming – Irdning = 40 km) and further on up to the Planneralm.

The nearest fuel station is Trautenfels at the crossing from B 320 to Irdning. The last groceries you find in Irdning.

alpine skiing:
The area of Planneralm is easily to overlook, all chairlifts start very centrally in the middle of Planneralm. So you cannot lose each other which often happens in huge skiing-areas. This is important especially if you come with children. In addition to that Planneralm is never so crowded that you cannot enjoy skiing any more because you must take care of all the others skiers.

big variety of skiing tours:
Planneralm is one of the most beautiful and varied skiing tour areas of the Niederen Tauern.
You get information of all the tours in the skiing school at Planneralm easily.

lively place to spend your winter holiday…

You will find some gastronomic facilities with excellent international and local food. It is only a few minutes to walk to the next restaurant for dinner.
Moreover you find cosy and rural old skiing huts directly situated at the skiing pists, which you can reach by skis.

location of apartment nr. 6:

in the apartment house Planneralm, Nr. 32, Top 6, 8953 Donnersbach, centrally located in the middle of the snow-area of Planneralm.
Spend your winter holiday in our apartment and enjoy the advantages of this central location: you only have to go a few meters to reach the chairlifts, the cashdesk of the lifts is beneath the house, the rental for all sorts of skiing equipment is on the groundfloor of our house.  You can buy fresh bread every morning at the baker’s who comes by car and sells it.
In the basement of our house there is a ski-storage room (which can be locked) and a ski-boots-drying room as well as a washing and drying machine which are operated by coins.

rent/arrival/departure:

usually from Saturday to Saturday (7 nights), on request different times possible.
The apartment is ready for you at 3 p.m. at the arrival day. Please leave the apartment until 9:30 a.m. at the departure day.

Kitchen roll, toilet paper, kitchen sponge and cleaning utensils included.
Please bring your own towels for bath and kitchen.
